Many fans associated with Fenerbahce have been stopped trying to buy tickets for FC Midtjylland's section for the clash between the two clubs on 30. January in Herning.

FC Midtjylland reports that interest around the potentially decisive Europa League clash against Fenerbahce on 30 January been tremendous and that the match has been sold out

MCH Arena has a capacity of 12.055 spectators and FCM reckons that the club could have sold at least twice as many tickets for the match and says that the ticket system has been under tremendous pressure.

Due to the diffullties of obtaining tickets for the match, a large number of Turkish fans have illegally tried to buy tickets for the home team's section, but have been stopped in their attempt.

FCM had previously set up a number of restrictions to ensure that Fenerbahce fans would only end up in the away section.

For that reason you could only buy a ticket for the FCM section if you had previously bought a ticket for the MCH Arena, and this has therefore been a stumbling block for quite a few Turkish supporters.

In addition it has come to the clubs attention that fans of Fenerbahce have contacted FCM fans with an interest in buying their tickets, and the club points out that this is not allowed.

If Fenerbahce supporters manage to find their way to the home team's stands, they will be expelled without the possibility of a refund, and FCM will generally have an increased security setup.

In order to gain access to FCM's fan section, you must present a Danish ID among other things.

Before the clash against Fenerbahce, FC Midtjylland faces Ludogorets in the Europa League on Thursday.
