Key updates
Saturday, October 17th
12:15 CET - The first lineups of the day are in from the Hill Dickinson Stadium, where Everton have made two changes from their 2-2 draw with Hull City. Vitali Mykolenko replaces Michael Keane in defence, whilst Merlin Rohl comes in for Brennan Johnson.
Chelsea looked to have changed to a back four, with Jorrel Hato starting over Pep Chavarria in what is their only change from the side that thrashed Bournemouth 5-1 last time out.
11:00 CET - Hello and welcome to Flashscore's coverage of this weekend's football!
The fun will begin in just over two hours with a tantalising clash between the Premier League's fifth and sixth-placed teams, Everton and Chelsea, and it will very much be a clash of contrasts.
There's barely been a dull moment in the first few months of Xabi Alonso's tenure at Chelsea, with the Blues looking lethal going forward but wide open at the other end. As a result, only two Premier League sides have scored more goals than them thus far, but none have conceded more.

Everton, on the flip side, have been far less spectacular, but far more steady. Today's hosts have only won two matches and scored eight goals across their six games, but have yet to lose and have only conceded five times.
Despite the differing starts to the season, though, both sides enter this afternoon's clash in Merseyside on 10 points, with their sights set on claiming three points that would give them a spot in the top four and some breathing room from those behind them.
