According to De Telegraaf, 21-year-old FC Porto winger Angel Alarcon is set to join FC Utrecht on loan until the end of the season, although the Dutch club has expressed interest in a permanent transfer for the Spaniard.
Alarcon, a product of La Masia, is under contract with Francesco Farioli's Porto until June 2027, and if he leaves the club on loan, he will extend his contract for another season, according to Portuguese outlet Record.

This season, Angel Alarcon has made six appearances for FC Porto's first team, in addition to nine games for the B team. The winger is valued at €1.8 million by Flashscore.

In addition to Angel Alarcon, FC Utrecht are reportedly set to complete a loan move for Swedish Bologna winger Jesper Karlsson. The 27-year-old Swede played for fellow Eredivisie side AZ between 2020 and 2023 before leaving for Bologna in a move worth a reported €11 million.
Karlsson was recalled from his loan club Aberdeen on Thursday and is set to be loaned out to FC Utrecht until the end of the season, per De Telegraaf.
The Swede will give FC Utrecht an additional attacking impulse after Danish star Victor Jensen suffered a severe knee injury in last weekend's Eredivisie match against FC Volendam.
