In the Danish 3F Superliga, Monday matches are one of the most debated topics among fans, clubs, and broadcasters. While rights holders love them for their high numbers of television viewers, they cause significant frustration in the stands.
Sunday matches allow fans to travel over the weekend, whereas a Monday match at 19:00 PM makes it nearly impossible for commuting fans to arrive in time. A Monday match in Herning means a long journey home across Denmark for Brondby fans in the middle of the night, ahead of a regular Tuesday at work or school.
