After crashing out of the Danish Cup, Brondby restored morale by taking a 2-0 win at Silkeborg while OB stunned all experts by recording a very surprising 4-2 win away against FC Nordsjaelland. The crisis at Vejle deteriorated when a last-minute winner saw them lose 2-1 in Haderslev, while Viborg won 3-2 at home against Randers.

Brondby kept up the pressure on the top teams in the league when they booked a comfortable 2-0 win away against Silkeborg, maintaining their third spot in the Danish Superliga.

The visitors clearly dominated proceedings in the first half and took a deserved lead after seven minutes when Frederik Alves put so much pressure on Mads Larsen after a corner that he ended up heading the ball into his own net.

Steve Cooper's men then added to the scoreboard shortly before the interval when Noah Nartey stole the ball deep into Silkeborg territory, drove towards the box and finished off with a cool low finish to the left of keeper Nicolai Larsen.

Silkeborg attempted to get back into the match, but Austrian international goalkeeper Patrick Pentz produced a couple of fine reflex saves for the visitors.

Viborg managed to create some space between themselves and the bottom teams of the league when an own goal by Wessel Dammers gave them a 3-2 win against Randers

Spectators were treated to end-to-end action during the first 45 minutes when goals from Viborg's Thomas Jorgensen and Srdjan Kuzmic and two goals from Randers' Mohamed Toure resulted in a 2-2 draw at the break. The two sides came out with a more defensive mindset after the interval, and despite a shortage of chances in the second half, the home side still managed to claim all three points.

The situation worsened for Vejle at the bottom of the league when a last-gasp winning goal from Icelandic defender Daniel Leo Gretarsson gave Sonderjyske a hard-fought 2-1 win against Ivan Prelec's struggling ten men in Haderslev. Vejle, who hasn't won a match since 1 August, seemed to be heading for an unlikely win when Giorgi Tabatadze gave them the lead after 25 minutes.

However, Tabatadze was then sent off 12 minutes later when he received his second yellow card, and bad then turned to worse for the visitors when Mads Agger restored parity just before the interval. Sonderjyske then launched a virtual siege on the Vejle goal during the second half and were rewarded deep into injury time when Gretarsson steered a close-range header into the net.

It's rare that away teams come away from Farum Park with any points, and after conceding 15 goals in their last five matches, odds were certainly not in favour of OB before their clash against FC Nordsjaelland. Things also seemed to be going according to expectations when Nicklas Rojkjaer gave the home side the lead after 15 minutes.

But four minutes after the interval Suriname striker Jay-Roy Grot scored the first of three goals on Sunday afternoon. Leeroy Owusu then made the most of the momentum to make it 2-1 four minutes later before Prince Amoako brought the game back on level terms after about an hour's play.

But the visitors stunned all experts when Grot continued his one-man show to add two more goals to his tally in the last twelve minutes to give the visitors a hugely surprising away win.
