16:23 CET - Top seed and home favourite in Stuttgart, Alexander Zverev, has sealed his place in tomorrow's final after a fiercely competitive 7-6(8), 7-6(1) victory over Ben Shelton in just over two hours.
It's a first grass-court final in eight years for Zverev, who'll take on Taylor Fritz for the title.
