Chicago White Sox No. 2 prospect Kyle Teel (23) recorded his first career MLB hit on Friday night against the Kansas City Royals.

The opposite field hit to load the bases in the bottom of the fourth inning came against Royals starting pitcher Seth Lugo

It was Teel's second at-bat of the game, previously earning a walk in his first.

The White Sox's new catcher is ranked the No. 26 prospect in all of baseball, second best in the White Sox organization.

Before his debut on Friday, Teel slashed .295/.394/.492 with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 34 runs, and 30 walks in 50 games for the White Sox's Triple-A affiliate - the Charlotte Knights

Teel was originally drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 14th round of the 2023 MLB Draft, but was ultimately traded to Chicago as part of the big Garrett Crochet trade between both teams.
