The start of the Laver Cup and a BJK Cup semi-final between Italy and Ukraine take centre stage today, while there’s also plenty of intriguing action at tournaments in Seoul, Chengdu and Hangzhou.

13:24 CET - Marta Kostyuk has given Ukraine a 1-0 lead in their BJK Cup semi-final against Italy after seeing off Elisabetta Cocciaretto in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.

Meanwhile, Brandon Nakashima and Arthur Cazaux have claimed victories in China.

11:55 CET - Play in Seoul has been called off for the day due to rain, and the quarter-finals and semi-finals will all be played tomorrow instead.

10:48 CET - Christopher O'Connell is the latest man through in Chengdu after a routine 6-2, 6-4 win over Yi Zhou, while Sebastian Korda has beaten Adam Walton 7-5, 6-3 in Hangzhou.

Elsewhere, rain continues to delay the start of play in Seoul, with Iga Swiatek's mouthwatering quarter-final clash against Barbora Krejcikova still scheduled to take place this morning.

08:56 CET - Alejandro Tabilo and Marcos Giron are through to the quarter-finals in Chengdu after straight-set wins over Luciano Darderi and Lorenzo Sonego, respectively.

Meanwhile, in Hangzhou, Aussie Rinky Hijikata has advanced after a hard-fought 7-6(2), 6-4 triumph against Camilo Ugo Carabelli.
